Rationale
Working at Height could expose the workers to the danger of falling from height that could lead to serious accidents including fatality, Hence, this training will assist the employees who work at height to enable them to take simple and practical measures to reduce the risk of any of the workers falling while working at height. References: - NFPA 1006 Standard for Rescue Technician Professional Qualifications - NFPA 1670 Standard on Operations and Training for Technical Rescue Incidents - NFPA 1983 Standard on Fire Service Life Safety Rope and System Components
Objectives
Covers all aspect related to working at height and rescue and provision of understanding and understanding of why rescue procedures are needed and how to plan for and successfully complete the rescue operation. At the end of the program participants should be abbe:
• To properly plan and carry out the rescue at height activity
• To ensure rescue is carried out by a competent person with skill, knowledge and experience
• To select and choose the right type of equipment for rescue at height

• Module 2 - Ropes & Knots
• Module 3 - Anchor & Anchoring
• Module 4 - Operational Lines
• Module 5 - Rappelling & Abseiling
• Module 6 - Stretcher Operation
• Module 7 - Stretcher Evacuation - Lowering, Hauling and Highline

The delivery has a balance of lectures, workshops & video presentation and practical to assist participants to interpret the rescue at height requirements in practical situations, together with the questions & answer sessions.
